Cinemark’s Century Theaters, located in La Quinta California, is a state of the art entertainment destination. Complete with 12 auditoriums all in 4K crisp, clear digital projection. Six of the 12 auditoriums will include Cinemark’s immersive RealD 3D capability. All auditoriums are enhanced by digital surround sound systems. The lobby is a cafeteria-style, self-serve concession stand, complete with bottled and draft beer, wine, and frozen cocktails. All the seats in the auditoriums are spacious and comfortable reclining chairs, making the viewing experience relaxing. Challenges
The concrete was a huge challenge for this project. We used Styrofoam to set the concrete and left the concrete in. This was purposely done to help with climate control and soundproofing. Another difficulty with this project was installing the projectors and tech in a non-climate controlled environment.
