Re: La Jolla Nursing Center – Accessibility Upgrade Project

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Watkins Landmark Construction and specifically your project team, Chris Eagen & Norm Testerman, for delivering a successful project. This accessibility upgrade included re-grading the parking lot, replacing the main entry driveway, installing a new ADA compliant ramp from the street to the main entrance of the facility, and renovating select interior bathrooms including a shower room.
Watkins Landmark Construction successfully and safely completed this work while coordinating with the staff to keep the facility operating. Despite encountering a number of unforeseen conditions during the site work portion of the project, you and your subcontractors worked effectively and put in the overtime required to achieve the critical completion date. Your team also worked closely with the OSHPD and City inspectors to obtain the necessary agency approvals in a timely manner. Chris and Norm are professional, diligent, fair, and good to work with. I look forward to working with Watkins Landmark on future projects.
