The Indian Wells Tennis Garden is undergoing a full-scale beautification project ahead of the 2018 BNP Paribas Open to showcase the venue in “Full Bloom,” Tournament Director Tommy Haas has announced.
Leading up to this year’s BNP Paribas Open, to be held March 5-18, 2018, a brand-new “Full Bloom” integrated marketing campaign highlights the world-class tennis players that participate in the renowned global event woven into the beautiful backdrop of the desert landscape. The Indian Wells Tennis Garden is also undergoing a series of site enhancements to amplify the feeling of Tennis Paradise. The improvements will emphasize the lush, green environment that makes the Tennis Garden truly feel like a garden in bloom.
The project will add an impressive 62 palm trees throughout the grounds, including a grove between the two main shade structures; a row in the Food Village; and a circle of trees in the retail area. Additional floral installations, pavers, plants, and greenery throughout the Tennis Garden will bring color and vibrancy to the venue, reminiscent of a garden blooming to life in the springtime.
